Abstract

Mutu pelayanan keperawatan sangat mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan kesehatan. Salah satu indikator dari mutu pelayanan keperawatan yaitu kepuasan. Kepuasan adalah perasaan senang atau kecewa seseorang yang dirasakan setelah membandingkan antara kinerja (hasil) yang diharapkan. Di Sumatera Barat angka tingkat kepuasan pasien sebanyak 44,4% angka ini masih tergolong rendah, sehingga kepuasan pasien menjadi permasalahan rumah sakit baik di Indonesia maupun di luar negeri. Salah satu cara mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan sikap caring. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku caring perawat dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien ruangan rawat inap interne di RSUD dr. Rasidin Kota Padang Tahun 2023.
Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di ruangan rawat inap interne RSUD dr. Rasidin Kota Padang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 12 Juni sampai 5 Juli 2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 58 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kusioner. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat.
Hasil penelitian didapatkan lebih dari separuh (51,7%) perilaku caring perawat yang tidak caring. Lebih dari separuh (65,5%) tidak puas terhadap pelayanan perawat. Setelah dilakukan uji statistic Chi-square didapatkan P-Value 0,007 (P-Value ≤ 0,05).
Penelitian ini disimpulkan terdapat hubungan perilaku caring perawat dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien runagn rawat inap interne di RSUD dr. Rasidin Kota Padang Tahun 2023. Diharapkan kepada perawat untuk bisa menerapkan perilaku caring seperti memberi perhatian, dukungan dan empati pada pasien agar pasien merasa puas akan pelayanan yang diberikan.

The quality of nursing services greatly affects the quality of health services. One indicator of the quality of nursing services is satisfaction. Satisfaction is a person's feeling of pleasure or disappointment that is felt after comparing the expected performance (results). In West Sumatra, the patient satisfaction rate is 44.4%, this figure is still relatively low, so patient satisfaction is a hospital problem both in Indonesia and abroad. One way to overcome this problem is with a caring attitude. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurses' caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction in the interne inpatient room at RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang City in 2023.
This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. This research was conducted in the interne inpatient room of RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang City. The research was conducted from June 12 to July 5, 2023. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 58 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis was done univariate and bivariate.
The results showed that more than half (51.7%) of nurses' caring behavior were not caring. More than half (65.5%) were not satisfied with nurse services. After Chi-square statistical test, the P-value was 0.007 (P-value ≤ 0.05).
This study concluded that there was a relationship between nurses' caring behavior and the level of satisfaction of interne inpatients at RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang City in 2023. It is expected for nurses to be able to apply caring behaviors such as giving attention, support and empathy to patients so that patients feel satisfied with the services provided.
